Have lots of pictures available.  Recent statistics indicate that houses with more than 6 pictures available for buyers to view sell faster than homes with fewer pictures. Get a good photographer, or ask your agent to recommend someone.

 

Leave something behind. Leaving behind good appliances (like a new oven or a plasma TV) makes your house more appealing to buyers (and it’s one less big item to move!)

 

 Make it easy for agents to show your home.  Your agent needs reliable and frequent access to your home to show it to as many buyers as possible.

 

Listen to your agent. Your realtor should be an expert on the local housing market, and what is working there right now.
