If you’ve got a great backyard or other outdoor space, make it a major selling point for the house!
Plant a garden. A good basic flower or herb garden can add appeal to any backyard. Make sure it’s well-trimmed and maintained, and go for plants that are more popular and traditional. Dramatic plants may be tempting, but you don’t know the buyers’ taste, so keep it simple.
If you have a pool, make sure that it is clean. Try to make the pool and surrounding area appear as low-maintenance as possible. Keep the tile or concrete clean, and avoid having pool toys scattered in the area.
Stage it. Consider adding patio furniture to make the outdoor space more appealing. It’s easier for the buyers to visual themselves having lovely backyard parties if there is attractive furniture available.
Have a good one and let me know if you need anything.
