Each piece of market is different.” When they tell you which market they are interested in, schedule an appointment to talk to them, and show the current market trends and numbers.

If the person deflects with, “Oh, I was just curious,” press for more information. Are they asking for a friend or family member, or are they curious about the value of their own home? “Would you like me to reach out to your friend or family member to discuss the market with them? Would you like me to put together value of your home and send it to you? Would you prefer to get the information by email, or is a personal appointment better for you?”

By taking advantage of a common question, you can draw out potential clients.
