Did you know that lighting is one of the best and easiest ways to improve the interior of your home?
Replace all dim or flickering bulbs. A dimly lit room can look dingy or ill-maintained; new bulbs that fully light the space will give it a better appearance.
Light dimly-lit areas. You don’t need to rewire the house or install new lighting. Even a simple lamp, when placed in a dim corner, can improve the appearance of a room. Make sure all hallways have proper lighting, as well as driveways, porches, and any outdoor areas where people may gather.
Enhance the light when photographing the room. Use bright natural lighting when possible. If you are taking pictures of the interior of the home to entice buyers, bring in extra lights for the photographs. A room that has plenty of light in person may read as dim in a picture; take a few test pictures to see how the room reads before committing to a lighting scheme for the session.
Have a good one and let me know if you need anything.
