First, search for meetups and events in your neighborhood. You can look on Meetup.com or your city’s event calendar; don’t forget to check your local library for event flyers and postings.
Commit to exploring one new area or attraction a month. Have you visited all the parks within walking distance of your house? Try eating at a new restaurant or visiting a food truck that makes a stop nearby. See what museums might be close enough to walk to; you’d be surprised how many small museums and traveling exhibits you may find!
Get to know your neighbors! If you have a family, you might create a neighborhood bingo game: on family walks or outings, see how can spot things like “a house with a tower” or “a blue sports car.” Let the winner choose the next outing!
