Have a good response at hand to deal with this question. “I can appreciate that request. May I explain why an agent who is willing to reduce his fees should concern you? If an agent will cut their own fee that quickly with you, what do you think they’ll do with a low offer on your home? They are very likely to pressure you to sell quickly instead of negotiating for a better sales price. You will get your money’s worth with me: I will work hard for you to get the highest possible sales price.”
