One of the most valuable tools you have is visualization. Visualize the self you want to be. It’s  impossible to effectively plan a journey when you don’t know much about your destination. Think about who you want to be, and what kind of life you want. Be specific: don’t just say, “I want to be rich,” think about what income level you want to achieve. Create specific goals, and outline the steps needed to reach them. If you want to close a certain number of deals per year, figure out how many calls and contacts you will need to make in the next year, and divide by 200 (the average number of working days in a year) to see how many calls you need to make each day. These visualization steps can help you create the future you want.
